There is no better feeling as massage therapist than seeing the improvements my clients have from their sessions. The pursuit of these experiences have guided the modalities and techniques I have learned and the background I have developed.
My employment experience has mainly focused in clinical treatment for work injuries, chronic pain and auto accident injuries. After 4 years of working for others I started my own business and developed my relaxation skills while maintaining my clinical passion. I left the Seattle area and have started seeing clients from Cheney to Spokane.
During my experience as a therapist I've had three lessons become paramount in my approach to treatment. First, is make sure to find the cause of the issue. This principle leads me to review my knowledge of anatomy and assessment tools. Second, there is no one trick to rule them all. I love learning and mastering techniques and understanding how to combine them for maximum effect. Third, no client is the same. Mastering techniques is great, but knowing when to use which ones and when not to use others based on a clients responses and needs is when the best results occur.
